Koa is indigenious to the Hawaiian Islands and is one of the most beautiful wood in the world. In Ancient Hawaii Koa was common and used for many products including canoes and paddles. Today Koa wood is scarce and coveted, yet in Hawaii we still paddle Koa Canoes and produce Koa Paddles, although neither is used in everyday practice. All our paddles are unique. Paddles in photos have long since found homes, hence are not actual paddle being sold. We go through paddles too fast to update daily. We guarantee satisfaction or will replace or refund your paddle.
